Between September 25 and October 10, 2010, the equestrian world focused their attention on the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games, held for the first time in the United States at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY.
In all, 121 riders from 41 nations competed in show jumping. After five days of competition jumping over six different courses, it came down to the premier show jumping event – the Final Four. Starting with a clean slate, Canada’s Eric Lamaze, Belgium rider Philippe Le Jeune, Rodrigo Pessoa of Brazil and Saudi Arabia’s Abdullah Al Sharbatly first rode their own horses and then switched through three more rotations riding each other’s horses culminating in the crowning of a new World Champion.
Join hosts Melanie Smith Taylor ant Tim Ryan as they relive two hours of show jumping highlights from the 2010 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games.
