Cars have airbags, why not horses? No place to put it, you might say. Mugen Denko of Japan originally created the Hit Air jacket in the late 1990's to help motorcycle riders prevent injury during a crash and equestrian riders have taken it a step further.
This is a jacket system worn over top of the body protector, with an inflatable bladder to protect the neck, chest, back and hips in case of a fall. You connect a lanyard to your saddle with a cable which pulls a pin from the jacket in the event that you leave your horse. If it deploys, it is reusable after you repack and replace the CO2 cartridge. Comes with one CO2 cartridge installed.
Hit Air Saddle Strap must be purchased separately.
