I have bought these leathers for years, since they first came out and I still have all my original pairs, even if I sell the saddle I keep the leathers. They stay in perfect condition, they don't get the stitch rot that can happen with leathers and they are thick and sturdy and that makes me very comfy knowing that on cross-country.
I have only 1 teeny complaint, I love the 1' leathers, but I wish they were just a hair thinner for when you want them in black for a dressage saddle. Why? Well the way the buckle is postioned and the way the stirrup bars are positioned in a dressage saddle, the buckle (not the actual leathers) will rub the crap out of your inner thigh, now I have noticed they don't seem to do this if you have a stirrup bar that is slightly farther back, but my Niedersuss KILLS my poor thighs!
