Last weekend when competing, I tested these new lightweight flex stirrups and wow are they nice. Half the weight of traditional stirrups, with superior strength, and wonderful shock-absorbing qualities, they were really kind on my bad knees. I really liked the nice wide footpad that comes with interchangeable rubber or metal “cheese grater” pads. Made in Italy, the material is a high quality nylon/plastic composite, injection molded.
