The seats are individually hand shaped for extra comfort and padded with Smar-Tech foam. This is also used in the panels of the close contact saddles allowing the rider to sit closer to the horse's centre of balance, while distributing the rider's weight evenly over the back. The Smar-Tech foam moulds to the individual shape of the horse's back for the perfect fit.

The Range has been designed with the help of some of world's best riders to create the optimum and most effective dressage and jumping riding position. The Stirrup Bars are uniquely positioned to allow the leg to lie in the precise centre of balance of the rider. Combined with the extra close contact given by flaps a total feeling of 'togetherness with your horse' is achieved.

The Southern Stars Girth straps are reinforced webbing to eliminate breakages. Girthing points are centred to allow for fit to all shapes of horses and also adjust to position the girthing point of each horse.

The Saddles are superbly finished using the best quality hand graded French Calf Leather tanned to our specification and come in Black and Australian Nut. They are reinforced with hard wearing Pig Skin. This combination gives the rider a soft ride that will also stand up to rigorous competition work.
